Foundation Preserves was born not only from a love of pure, flavorful jam, but from a profound journey of healing and resilience.
Hello, I’m Eva, the founder. My path into the kitchen began during one of the most difficult chapters of my life. After a life-threatening partial molar pregnancy and a medically necessary termination at 17 weeks, I experienced PTSD and a severe panic disorder. During time away from work, baking became my grounding practice.
Encouraged by my commitment to wellness and guided by my best friend, a graduate of the French Pastry School, I created a jam that is pure and free from any unnecessary additives. What started as a personal healing journey for me, quickly grew into a passion shared with friends and family.
